eBay and Skype never integrated to enhance the auction process

Yeah well, the Skype and eBay integration. should have happened then 2 years ago. It never really happened.  Case closed. Honestly, I don't want phone-calls or chats via Skype because I happen to sell my old shoes or skype phones on eBay. What's the added value of Skype there ? I agree that Skype is the winner, but I think eBay wonders now what to do with it. I mean, it's free icon that anybody can put on their website. Any other big auction site can also put it on their website. Or are the other going to say "no you cannot call via Skype... because it's for eBay only." Hahahaha. Skype belong to the world. eBay must release and maybe google is a much better partner for Skype. On every google search result there should be a skype icon. Click 2 call advertising for those who want. Do it !

If eBay and Skype would have been serious of integrating with eachother (on that level) they would have put callto:eBay.support and callto:skype.support and callto:paypal.support on their website, but even that did not happen.

The biggest p2p VoIP telephony company that does not pickup their phone and neither did eBay. No wonder that today many people hang up on Skype.

Is there a Skype / eBay plugin that I can download somewhere ?

They've always had a way with words... "nocurnal P2P traffic". Is there a more shady way to describe something ? I can see it saying it to my nephews "any nocturnal p2p traffic going on here ?" hahahahaha

I don't know. I have not seen a sample. I guess it's the same eprom like all the other skype phones...

Some of the boxes on the market are blind for their own deficiency. Not necessarily referring to the one mentioned above here... Good brands don't have a reason to be scared. Other's have a reason to be ending on the pile of obsoleteness...

Skype High Quality Video Webconferencing.

It is still one to one the web-conferencing via skype video, but here is a good report by SJ on the High Quality Video.  Waiting till it work with ALL high quality camera's... Skype did promise better video from non-logitech cameras... I wonder how long the high quality keeps streaming with all those Skype blockers and throttlers around... Only real life testing will point this out.

I think that potential buyers like google are shopping victoriously to buy it from eBay (so eBay) recovers a bit of it's losses and Skype gain could gain some spirit back by surfing on the google wave. Maybe we'll even see some magnetism between Youtube.com and Joost.com ? Who knows. All pure speculation of course.  I do wonder with what Jaanus and Niklas keep themselves busy these days... Apart from watching Joost...

Skype hangs up on Germany. No more Skype in numbers are being served (properly).

Just read all these posting and you know something is wrong with the german Skype IN numbers. Maybe the people staff and management at skype are getting tired and can't deal with the growth anymore ? There is certainly and issue of quality control. Instead of having spread out on thousand skype extra bullshit programs they should focus on their core business and get the existing problems sorted.

"Skype are morons" or "Skype have become morons". It's something I hear being said more and more in the blog and chat-alleys. Sorry to say so, but it keeps reverberating... There is no love (or less love) for Skype anymore... It's amazing what you find on the internet when you search for "skype are morons". It' used to be different. Anyways here are some quotes from this not so appetizing article about Skype (it is a good article and I think the author is not so far from the reality...) :

• Skype is taking away SkypeIn numbers from paying customers.
• Skype 3.6 the "High Quality Video" restricted Logitech webcams and Core Duo cpu users.
• The latest releases of Skype produce huge numbers of Page Faults per second.
• Skype has no customer service telephone number, no customer service live chat, no customer service email.

How the heck did I end up on this Skype download space and something about the Logitech Skype High Quality Camera's ?

Right here : https://order1.4publishers.com/SkypeUpdateOld.aspx. Not sure how I ended up here. It happened after a restored session of www.firefox.com. When I clicked the url "                 To proceed with order you need to get the latest Skype version." it dumped here : http://www.skype.com/intl/en/download/skype/windows/. I see it.. yet another push to download one of the countless Skype updates or new versions :). Bring 'em on. I am always happy to see an update, even it does not have in it what I want it have it... But then again who am I... I am grateful already that we can call, chat and video conference for free without any advertising of eBay in the Skype-tray.

Then again maybe in the fut  in the new Skype HQ video the alerts and message control panel will look like this (imaginary mockup by myself) in relation to the "Logitech High Quality Video webcam Exclusively for Skype High Quality Video calls." as advertised here. Buy now .... What about the other camera's and other brands ?
