IN mean time slashdot reports the non-confirmed rumour which also appeared on ZDNET that Did Russian Hackers Crash Skype? George Ou from ZDNET already stated in January 16th, 2006 that » Skype 2.0 looked like a virus | George Ou | ZDNet.com, and now come up with a story that Skype would have "hacked" by Russians. I blogged this earlier.

It's only normal to ask such questions after the Skype outage that shows cracks in VoIP armour, even if they are back to normal and promising more details Monday. Until those details are revealed accept the statement that EBay Says Skype Was not Attacked. But in this Skype Crisis: Where were the eBay Management? Om Malik is right when mentioning "that in this moment of crisis, eBay's senior management was AWOL. Ebay and Skype management are happy to talk to the press when delivering the good news, but in this crisis situation, the silence was deafening."
