New Ipevo Free.2 USB Skype Phones.

The people from Ipevo were so friendly to provide me with proper samples for their new Ipevo Free.2 phones. It's one of the few modern companies in this arena of usb-device that has a high cute factor and keeps coming back with new steady releases. Interesting to see how they play on the blogosphere. Smart marketing move I think, where the others are purely box-movers that still say "we only ship 1000 boxes" and blogging, well we don't really believe in that. Fine, but ask yourself what your loosing, if you don't know what you are winning. You are loosing exposure and free testing. Consider these blog observation free testimonials (the geekier the better for some) and free-thinking on what could be improved on certain products.

By the way. If you can't take positive or negative criticism via blogs, then simply stay away from it. But if you do bad or good product development and marketing, you will harvest what you deserve. Today we can talk to the world, and the world will talk back for free. Therefore start listening. Be there or be square! I also wonder how certain hardware vendors inted to market their skype hardware product, if you don't exposure yourself on the web regularly. I have noticed that press-released and nice marketing sheets do not always reflect the reality of what the product does. On top of that you might be filling in online ordering form to come to the conclusion that in the end your box cannot be shipped to your country...

Anyways, now the fun part. I have been playing with the new Ipevo Free.2 phone. It works well. Of all the skype enabled usb-phones I find this one most complete. I don't see anything wrong with it and they really listen to customer feedback it seems.
