Shanghai China : undersea cables are damaged by the earthquake, few foreign websites can be accessed but skype and googletalk can connect

My Skype contacts in Shanghai, China reported to me that the undersea cables are damaged by the earthquake and that few foreign websites can be accessed. Only skype and google-talk can connect and msn messenger does not work since this morning.

Related news on a large earthquake near Taiwan last night that has disrupted mainland China's Internet access to international Web sites.
