What is Kazaa poking around in my Skype System ????? !!!!!!
I was just testing a www.ipoque.com p2p controller system here and in order to do that, I installed the newest version of Kazaa, to see if it would detect p2p traffic and log the traffic. It works fine.
I did not download the Skype-version via the Kazaa-website. I am already running Skype 30. I also wondered if Skype is sharing any of the p2p supernodes it using with the Kazaa network. I installed the p2p networking module from Kazaa also. I mean : it installed itself… It’s been a while since I installed Kazaa.
After having started the SKypeThen I noticed suddenly that Kazaa wanted to access my Skype. I cannot tell you how much I hate what happened then, after starting Kazaa. Imagine that you are not running something like Windows defender (who kept nagging about it). But then this :

Now what is that ???? I did not ask Kazaa to do anything to my Skype-contact-list. Okay granted. I can always just deny Kazaa access. But I wonder what Kazaa is doing poking around in my Skype system. This also seriously slowed down my Skype 3.0.
Do more with less…

I like it.
I don't like it.
