Gizmo Project for Business Debuts before Skype for Business showes face.

Well I have been waiting so long for the «real» Skype for Business to be launched, but I have seen nothing yet, except for the external applications mentioned on the Skype for Business website – www.skype.biz.

It is clear that a Skype for Business Applications or a «Skype Group Server» is not the current priority of Skype. We do have Highspeedconferencing, Skylook , you can be on the phone with an interpreter and you can get FREE Skype Business Cards … There is also a whole range of hardware devices available but what we don’t have is internal manageability of the Skype Application. There are no straight-forward reporting tools. It is simply a very powerful well marketed VoIP P2P IM Client. CLIENT. not SERVER. I find that unbelievable especially because quite some users of Skype are small and medium size enterprises.

And this is where GIZMO comes in with a different approach with the Gizmo Project for Business.
