Is Skype an IT nightmare ?

While there is More Trouble For The Vonage IPO creating more doubt on Vonage's Viability and and even puts Vonage on the ropes, the 'IT nightmare' Skype burrows into networks. The problem with Skype is that it is not manageable they way it should be for certain IT-environments. At least not the current public version. It is like google 10 years ago. It gives the users total freedom. Many organizations can’t deal with that. In smaller companies that is not an issue, since they don’t have real security needs anyways. In bigger corporations that is not true. Whatever we make of it; Skype Presents Massive Threat to Communications World. I just think that Telecoms must look to integrate. Make your choice :

• We take everything. We will save money and change our communications.
